Conflict management training for managers

Simple techniques to manage workplace conflict effectively.

Tension and disagreements are a natural part of working life. Handled well, they can strengthen relationships, spark creativity, and build trust. But few people are taught how to manage conflict in a healthy way, so issues often get ignored. Gossip spreads, resentment builds, and the workplace culture suffers.

This workshop takes a mindful approach to conflict. Rather than reacting out of frustration or avoidance, participants will learn to pause, notice their own responses, and communicate with clarity and compassion.

In this workshop, participants will:


  • Explore the common causes of workplace conflict and what fuels escalation.


  • Practise a mindfulness-based technique for calming strong emotions before responding.


  • Learn how to step into another person’s perspective to reduce tension and increase empathy.


  • Build confidence in addressing issues directly, without blame or defensiveness.


By the end of the session, participants will feel better equipped to transform conflict into opportunities for understanding, growth, and stronger working relationships.
